Viva Stereo - Rarities & Improvements album flac

Rarities is a compilation album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released from 10 February 1995 by EMI exclusively in Southeast Asia and South America. The record is composed of previously released b-sides, demos, single mixes and remixes, as well as several songs from the duo's 1993 performance for MTV Unplugged. As of 2001, the compilation has sold in excess of a million copies worldwide.

Viva Stereo pride themslves on being a band that are difficult to pigeonhole with influences throughout the genres of folk, electro, indie, punk, hip hop, kraut rock and psychedelia. Part of Fife’s Fence Collective which also includes King Creosote, . 2006 saw the release of a ‘Rarities’ compilation which meant the band had commercially released over 60 songs in the space of 4 years. In 2007 the band returned with a brand new EP released through De-Fence Records, a Fence Records off-shoot. Viva Stereo’s 3rd album, ‘Roar, Lion, Roar’ will be released in October 2008. It features contributions from Malcolm Middleton, King Creosote, My Latest Novel, Onthefly and Candythief.

In 2005, Coldplay released their third album, X&Y. In many ways, it was one of those collections where a band starts to sound exactly like everyone’s most basic idea of them. The subtle hints of something weirder that lingered at the edges of Parachutes and A Rush Of Blood To The Head, the element that allowed Coldplay to straddle the worlds of murky post-Britpop atmospheric rock and more straight-up mainstream pop, were mostly brushed away for their polished and often sappy third effort.
