Life Cycles is the second studio album by American metalcore band The Word Alive. The album was released on July 3, 2012 through Fearless Records. The album features a heavier and more "metal-headed" sound as stated by lead vocalist Tyler Smith. Life Cycles is the first release by the band to be without keyboardist, Dusty Riach, who parted ways with the band at the beginning of 2012.

Deceiver is the debut full-length album by metalcore band The Word Alive. It was released on August 31, 2010 through Fearless Records. The title derives from a passage of lyrics within the chorus of the song "The Wretched". With anticipation of the album following up to their critically acclaimed EP Empire, the band promoted the album for several months until leading to its release.

Her latest song "Come Alive (Dry Bones)" is also featured in a live format as the title track on the CentricWorship album Come Alive. I hear in Lauren's stellar vocals a sincere yearning for Jesus and thankfulness in her heart for God's mercy and grace. I'm completely convicted by the strong lyrics and find immense comfort in this song filled with biblical truth. Lauren's tender vocals take you on an emotional journey that gives me goosebumps every time I hear this song

You stumble through your days Got your head hung low, your skies a shade of grey Like a zombie in a maze You're asleep inside, but you can shake awake. Cause you're just a dead man walking Thinking that's your only option But you can flip the switch and brighten up your darkest day Sun is up and the color's blinding Take the world and redefine it Leave behind your narrow mind You'll never be the same. Come alive, come alive Go and light your light, let it burn so bright Reaching up to the sky And it's open wide, you're electrified When the world becomes a fantasy And you're more than you could ever be 'Cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open And you know you can't go. back again To the world that you were living in 'Cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open So, come alive.
