Seventh Wave was a British psychedelic and progressive rock duo formed in the mid-1970s. The band was formed by Ken Elliot (keyboards, vocals) and Kieran O'Connor (percussion), both of whom had been members of earlier progressive rock groups, Second Hand and Chillum.

Seventh Wave's debut Things to Come showed keyboardist Ken Elliott to be the duo's greatest strength and weakness, for while his synth work defines the album's futuristic sound, his singing - as on strangled vocal cords of "Fail to See" - lacks the sophistication (or willful obscurity, if you prefer) that usually accompanied progressive keyboard work of this. era.
