J.D. Pinkus - Keep On The Grass album flac

Pinkus released a solo album, "Keep on the Grass" on Cassette tape on Minner Bucket Records and Compact Disc on Heavy Feather Records. It was recorded entirely on banjo and features a rendition of the song "Bride of Crankenstein" from the Melvins album Hold It In. The . release show is with Sleep in San Pedro on September 15, 2018. On February 12, 2018, the Melvins announced that Pinkus would be joining them, alongside current bassist Steven McDonald (Redd Kross), on their next album and subsequent tour

While the album was a solid and adventurous outing from the band, it didn't seem as if the Melvins were making full use of the Surfers' full legacy of sonic assault in those sessions.

While that album, which featured the Surfers’ Pinkus and Paul Leary, was very obviously borrowing from the legendary noise rock band, the iconic, metallic, muck-riddled grooves still took center stage - that is to say, it was definitely a Melvins album. Not to say this doesn't feel like an album from the group, or it’s even that left field or shocking.
