Pork Soda is the third studio album by the American rock band Primus, released April 20, 1993, certified Gold in September 1993 and certified Platinum in May 1997. The 2005 re-issue comes in a digipak and contains a booklet with lyrics printed to nine songs, omitting "Pork Soda" which consists of a series of unintelligible rants. The album was performed in its entirety for the first time at The Fox Theater in Oakland, California, on December 31, 2015.

Pork Soda released three singles: DMV, Mr. Krinkle, and–most notably– My Name Is Mud. The album is decisively darker than Primus’s past endeavors, dealing with themes of murder, suicide, historical violence (namely, Wounded Knee), and alienation. The album was certified platinum in May 1997.

By the time Primus released Pork Soda in April 1993, the alt-rock boom was in full swing and dozens of anomalous underground rock bands were suddenly populating the Billboard charts. While many of those bands found mass success by modifying their quirks, in the case of Pork Soda it simply seemed that the public’s taste for nuttiness had caught up to Primus. Even My Name Is Mud, which was Primus' biggest hit up to that time, was one of its least compromising tracks  . Beloved by Primus fans old and new, Pork Soda is the album that made prog-rock fun again.
