You put my back to the boards And expect me not to act? Patience and composure Are qualities I lack I'm no angel, I ain't no saint But at least I can show some restraint When a few more seconds Tick off the clock That's when you're gonna find me In the box Your actions, you don't think through Now I'm on the brink trying to keep my cool But.

An extended play record, often referred to as an EP, is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single, but is usually unqualified as an album or LP. Contemporary EPs generally contain a minimum of three tracks and maximum of six tracks, and are considered "less expensive and time-consuming" for an artist to produce than an album.

I first heard this track in Philadelphia, one of the Special K parties. In 1998 I travelled to Quito, Ecuador with a bag full of records and ended up playing a number of nights at a club there. Given I only had a bag of records it quickly played out. Luckily for me, the resident DJ at this club was from the UK and had a few crates. I discovered this tune while digging his crates and quickly slipped it in my bag. I know. Justification at the time was he was too busy being coked out of his mind and fucking some Columbian chick. I cherish this record, anytime I put it on it always lifts me up.

Hahahaha, very funny... and you were right, this is a banger, bought this one back in 1993 when it was released, still a treasure!

A belting tune, and one that most proggy fans from around '93 should recognise. As noted in the comments above, the original version of this track first appeared on Alabama 3 - I Shall Be Released. What isn't mentioned is that the original version is a full 2 minutes longer, so if you want to appreciate this tune in its full original glory then its worth tracking that vinyl down. The intro is several bars longer, all beats, and the outro extends quite a bit, fading to a beatless vocal loop. Much better for mixing if you're still into that kinda thing. Brilliant tune though, no matter which version you get.
