Peter Hammill - Enter K album flac

Enter k is the eleventh studio album by Peter Hammill, originally released on the Naive Records label in October 1982. The label was owned and operated by Gordian Troeller, the former manager of Hammill's band Van der Graaf Generator that had found success managing Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (which Hammill has said "must have been a blessed relief after the VdGG years"). Hammill subsequently reissued the album on his own Fie! label.

This album opens rather strangely. Paradox Drive is probably the popiest song written by Peter so far. The song features a funky groovy mood like. Talking Heads" in the late seventies. But the dark and serious Hammill is back with another jewel and so classic song. Jackson is of course of great assistance in this VDGG effort.

Exclusively for Prime members. Sample this album Artist (Sample). Massively underrated 1983 album from Hammill, during his 'K Group' era. It contains some of what I consider his greatest songs: The Unconscious Life' and 'Accidents' in particular. Because of the band makeup it has a VDGG feel to it, and though it has a couple of mediocre tracks, nothing is bad, and the best tracks make it a must-have, IMHO.

Peter Joseph Andrew Hammill (born 5 November 1948) is an English singer-songwriter. He is a founder member of the progressive rock band Van der Graaf Generator. Best known as a singer, he also plays guitar and piano. He also acts as a record producer for his own recordings and occasionally for other artists. In 2012, he was recognised with the Visionary award at the first Progressive Music Awards.
