The London Philharmonic has a wonderful interpretation of this masterpiece. We occasionally sing selections from "The Messiah" in our choir at church, and anybody who has ever encountered this work from a musician's standpoint knows how difficult it is. The major thing that stands out to me when listening to this recording is the fearless use of dynamics. The soloists who perform are real masters. One can clearly hear every distinct note. And the music itself is far beyond timeless.
