Nothing so subtle on Invisible Daylight; with a power drummer like Heath Chappell, you might as well kick some you-know-what underneath those well-developed melodies, and Chappell's springy, punchy, ratatat, cat-quick work on "Shadow of Then" and others is a marvel. Iverson also knows his way around less furious feels, as "7% Solution" amply demonstrates, and for more variance, Throw throws out mid-song tempo changes around like jalapeños in a salad. This indie clash of pop and rock is plenty good and spicy.
