Scanners (1981) and The Brood (1979) are cult horror films and I'm sure you've all seen the 'exploding head' scene in the former, a no CGI, blood-splattering ordeal. The score by Howard Shore is varied, ranging from eerie orchestral sounds to jazzier, brass-led moments and even hints of electronics in there. What do you think of this release?
