Living My Life is the sixth studio album by Grace Jones, released in 1982. It was the last of three albums she recorded at the Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas.
Grace Beverly Jones OJ (born 19 May 1948) is a Jamaican-American supermodel, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. Born in Jamaica, she moved when she was 13, along with her siblings, to live with her parents in Syracuse, New York. Jones began her modelling career in New York state, then in Paris, working for fashion houses such as Yves St. Laurent and Kenzo, and appearing on the covers of Elle and Vogue. Includes the videos for "Pull Up to the Bumper", "Private Life" and "My Jamaican Guy", all directed by Jean-Paul Goude. Christmas at Pee Wee's Playhouse (TV special). My Jamaican Guy is pure Grace, while the slippery dance track Nipple to the Bottle and the James Brown homage Cry Now-Laugh Later show that Jones was as much a hero to funk as Brown himself.
