After having the time of our lives on our gigs in Copenhagen, Hamburg, Groningen and Barneweld, we were awarded European Bluegrass band 2014 on the European World of Bluegrass festival in Vorthuizen. Brokeland Bullets is a six piece traditional bluegrass stringband from Oslo, Norway, heavily influenced by such related genres as folk and country. Pianski plays the guitar, sings lead and backing vocals, and blows the harmonica, and Espen Svenungsen picks the banjo while singing both lead and backing vocals. Johannes Selvaag strums the mandolin, Sondre Ljoså lays down the bottom end with his trusty double bass, Ruth, and also sings backing vocals, while Paul Oddvang and Per Waagø complete the outfit, playing dobro and fiddle respectively.
