Rock Around the Clock was the third album of rock and roll music by Bill Haley and His Comets. Released by Decca Records in December 1955 it was, like the two albums that preceded it, a compilation album of previously issued singles. Most of the album's contents had in fact been previously issued by Decca earlier in 1955 on the album Shake, Rattle and Roll.

Rock 'n Roll Stage Show is the fourth album of rock and roll music by Bill Haley and His Comets. Released by Decca Records in August 1956 it was the group's first album to include new, as opposed to previously released material. And although the album spawned several singles, it also featured several album-only tracks. Of the released singles, "Rudy's Rock" reached n. 4 on Billboard and n. 8 on Cashbox, "Hot Dog Buddy Buddy" reached n. 6 on Cashbox, and "Rockin Thru the Rye" reached n. 9 on Cashbox.

He'd also signed away parts of his income, apparently in perpetuity, thereby setting the stage for the financial problems that would dog him to the grav. nd beyond. In 1948, though, a percentage of Haley's income didn't amount to much. I was working until 2:00am in the clubs and opening the station at 6:00am," he recalled to the 'Philadelphia Sunday Bulletin'.
