RR Album Poll 2005: "Blanc Faces" is the debut album by the American AOR band of the same name, built around the brothers LaBlanc. I can see where Gloobey is coming from, there is no such thing as a perfect album. Though i will admit that Blanc Faces comes close. Yet as everyone is saying, they rely on sounding like other classic AOR bands, though this works to a great extent it also lacks any originality that the band may have brought to the table. Still it is good to hear an AOR album this well done.

Blanc Faces, headed by the brother duo, Robbie and Brian La Blanc, are a dynamic melodic rock group based in the . (New York and Connecticut area). Their harmonies are unsurpassed and focal to their sound and style. Robbie is lead vocalist and plays rhythm guitar. Mixed by Dennis Ward, the album features 12 tracks of incredibly easy on the ears arena rock. If you are a fan of Journey, Foreigner and Survivor, you will love this recording! Frontiers.
