Tom Jones, real name Thomas John Woodward KBE (born 7 June 1940), is a Welsh singer whose career has spanned six decades, from his emergence as a vocalist in the mid-1960s with a string of top hits, regular touring, appearances in Las Vegas (1967–2011), and career comebacks. Jones's powerful voice has been described as a "full-throated, robust baritone". His performing range has included pop, rock, R&B, show tunes, country, dance, soul and gospel.

But these are many of the hits that made him famous in the 1960s. Included here, not on an older "best of" album we have, is the theme from "Thunderball," one of the James Bond films from that era. Terrific. And very good quality audio; you'll love it.
Here we present the very best of them. Ozzy Osbourne & Lita Ford – Close My Eyes Forever (1988). But the best track on the album was one that Plant had written with Jimmy Page – the tender ballad Please Read The Letter. The irony was not lost on Page. Bob Dylan & Johnny Cash – Girl From The North Country (1969). The song that Dylan first recorded in 1963 for his second album The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan was remade six years later as a duet with Cash. It was her mission in life, he said, that I should write her a song. Only it didn’t turn out quite like that.
