American rapper and record producer Kanye West has released eight studio albums, two collaborative studio albums, two live albums, three video albums and four mixtapes. West has sold 21 million albums and 100 million digital downloads worldwide. Seven of his studio albums have been certified at least platinum in the United States, and his output has been generally met with consistent commercial and critical popularity.
Kanye Omari West (/ˈkɑːnjeɪ/; born June 8, 1977) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, and fashion designer. Over the course of his career, West has been an instigator of various developments within mainstream hip hop and popular music at large.
And then there was West's third solo album, Graduation, which was promoted well in advance of its September 11 release (a memorable date that pitted Kanye against 50 Cent, who in one interview swore he would quit music if his own album, Curtis, wasn't the top-seller). A pair of singles - "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and "Stronger," the latter an interpolation of Daft Punk's 2001 single "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" - led the promotional push.
The Kanye West album with the most amount of good tracks, I can listen to every single song besides fade and enjoy them. So many of Ye's best songs are on here. It actually is a decent album. I had to listen to it a second time to appreciate it. Only two tracks that I can never get used to are Don't Like and To the World. I don't really think of this a Kanye album more like various artists. It still have some good songs but I admit it was the worst Kanye West album. Good album, surely not bad, but just not up there with the others.
