MD2 Init() initializes a MD2 CTX structure. MD2 Update() can be called repeatedly with chunks of the message to be hashed (len bytes at data). MD2 Final() places the message digest in md, which must have space for MD2 DIGEST LENGTH 16 bytes of output, and erases the MD2 CTX. MD4 Init(), MD4 Update(), MD4 Final(), MD5 Init(), MD5 Update(), and MD5 Final() are analogous using an MD4 CTX and MD5 CTX structure. Applications should use the higher level functions evp digestinit(3) etc. instead of calling the hash functions directly.
MD2 supports the most recent two versions of all major browsers: Chrome (including Android), Firefox, Safari (including iOS), and IE11, Edge. We also aim for great user experience with the following screen readers: NVDA and JAWS with IE, FF, Chrome (on Windows). VoiceOver with Safari on iOS and Safari, Chrome on OSX. TalkBack with Chrome on Android.
