Creeper Lagoon is a San Francisco indie rock band originally started by Sharky Laguana as a solo project in 1991. They are currently on Laguana's digital record label, Neglektra. DreamWorks Records discography. This is a list of albums released by the now-defunct record label DreamWorks Records, which include studio albums and soundtrack albums. Jeremiah Griffin Harrison (born February 21, 1949) is an American songwriter, musician, producer, and entrepreneur. Lord-Alge received two Grammy Awards for his work on Steve Winwood's Back in the High Life (1986), and Roll With It (1988)-both winning in the Best Engineered Recording – Non-Classical category. Lord-Alge's third Grammy was for Santana's Supernatural (1999), which won Album of the Year.

Like Creeper's previous albums, Take Back The Universe is a delicate piece of criss-crossing jangles and loose-limbed riffs, but the shimmery sprawl never coalesces into anything concrete. 40. Creeper retain their melodic ingenuity and slowly ascending anthems, but their vision is scattered - the band can't decide on a single melody per song, so they ramble from one promising yet half-formed tune to the next. Spin? Hey Guccione, put Brittney back on your cover you Jann Werner wannabe. This is one truly fun album. Moses has quietly forgiven yo. or living alone.

Their success led them to the DreamWorks label for their follow-up, 2001's Take Back the Universe and Give Me Yesterday. After the album and subsequent tour, the band broke up, with Laguana retaining the band name. Creeper Lagoon went on to release an EP in 2002 (Remember the Future) and an album in 2006 (Long Dry Cold). Creeper Lagoon's song "Under the Tracks" appears on the soundtrack of the 2002 film Orange County. The track has been falsely attributed to Coldplay on many music sites. On December 6, 2016, the band announced an original lineup reunion show on February.

Album Take Back the Universe and Give Me Yesterday. 1. Sunfair Lyrics. Grey hair is taking hold of me Snake charmer's cut my throat and i'm loose again Fell down drinking wine with him Stole my saxophone Stripped me to skin and bone. Sad and lifeless Red and cruel Ask myself can i fight this Hangman standing in my room Telling me jokes again Nineteen he was handsome A ray farmer spreading sun on the roofs of man Moon queen she was sexual Silver hands to hold Bouquet of marigold. Sad to love her Lip gloss and rouge Nothing he had could touch her Frail arms reaching. Take Back the Universe and Give Me Yesterday Creeper Lagoon. Chance of a Lifetime.

Anyone who remembers all those ill-titled albums by the Smashing Pumpkins knows that releases with such high falutin' titles as Take Back the Universe and Give Me Yesterday usually beg to be dismissed as little more than the pretentious, self-indulgent bursts of egocentric musicians. Opening with the guitar-driven anthems "Chance of a Lifetime" and "Wrecking Ball," the album immediately sounds so emotionally and sonically overwhelming that it actually lives up to the enormity of the title. It's the more subdued tracks like "Under the Tracks" and "Keep From Moving," however, that prove the band is more than typical rock radio fare.

I saw this band live countless times in SF. At the time they were a local favorite of mine, along with Engine 88. 'Sunfair' is great tune.
digytal soul
This is very very rare due to a flood that damaged 300 of the 500 pressed! Only 200 are known to exist! ...and yes, this is their best lp in my humble opinion

Sharky lost 10-20 in a flood as well so the number is possibly around 180-190.

Better yet, only 200 exist due to a flood that destroyed 300 out of the 500 pressed.
