Northern Exchange were a short lived cross-Pennine duo comprising of Joanne Ellis and Richard Adams. This was their only EP and was recorded in the summer of 2014. The aim of the band was to explore simplicity by using as few instruments as possible. supported by 11 fans who also own The Loveliest Lanes We Knew. i discovered this artist mainly because i liked the album artwork, and also in part, because bracken ave is the name of the street i lived on as a child. after i got through the opening track, which is a thick, atmospheric, down-tempo, electronic track, I was v surprised! though every track sounds completely different from the next, i find a variety.

A Place We Knew is the debut studio album by Australian singer songwriter Dean Lewis. The album was released on 22 March 2019. The album was announced in February 2019, with Lewis revealing that "all the songs were written through relationships I'd been in and houses I used to live in and hotel rooms". Of the album, Dean stated that "Things come and go so fast, but I wanted to make something authentic, raw", describing the title as "encapsulat(ing) the bittersweet memories of past relationships".
Our business Visions by Vicki held an event at Northern Lanes this past week elpful and friendly. Amanda went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and took care of the needs of our 30 guests with a smile. She was the only server and did a WONDERFUL job!!! I will definitely be happy to use their facility in the future for more events.
Connected is the first studio album by the Foreign Exchange, a hip hop group consisting of American rapper Phonte from Little Brother and Dutch producer Nicolay. It was released on BBE on August 24, 2004.
Loveliest of Trees’ is, then, something of a carpe diem poem (urging us to ‘seize the day’ and enjoy life while we can) and also, like many of A. E. Housman’s poems, something of a memento mori (. a reminder that we are going to die someday). These two meanings softly provide a backdrop to Housman’s description of the lad walking along the ‘woodland ride’ (a ‘ride’ being a path meant for horses) and admiring the white cherry blossom on the trees. Loveliest of Trees’ offers, in the last analysis, a fresh take on an old message. The idea that our time is short on this planet was not original to A. Housman, of course. But his focus on a particular phenomenon glimpsed for only a short time during the year brings home the fact to us.
Loveliest of trees, the cherry now Is hung with bloom along the bough, Right off the bat, we're talking abou. ep, trees-no surprise there as this is a poem called "Loveliest of Trees. In fact, the speaker begins by talking about the loveliest of trees. For him, that's a cherry tree. The speaker isn't describing just any old cherry tree, however, but one that is now blooming. Housman was a British poet, and in England (yes they do grow there) cherry trees usually bloom in April and May. Since we know this, and since we can reasonably assume that this poem takes place in England, we can also surmise that our poem takes place late spring. We generally think of springtime as a rebirth, a new beginning, the time when the cold, death-like winter months give way to blooming flowers and warmer weather. Let's read on to see if that time of year holds any significance for our speake. ines 3-4.
