Mark de Clive-Lowe (born August 16, 1974) is a half-Japanese, half-New Zealander musician, composer and producer raised in Auckland, New Zealand, now based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, de Clive-Lowe was raised bi-culturally by his Japanese mother and New Zealander father. He started learning piano at age 4 and developed an in interest in jazz through his father's record collection and oldest brother's own piano playing.
