But Nothing is Lost is a 2005 album by Shpongle. It is the project's third and was announced as their last, though that plan later changed. Like the previous two albums, it features many live musicians and vocalists in combination with computer-generated sounds and spoken-word samples. Stylistically the album can be described as a fusion of world music, intelligent dance music, and psychedelic trance.
Now remastered for 2019. It proved to be yet another masterclass in the psychedelic fusion of the worlds between musical genre and sonic geometry. This iconic album has been remastered and the packaging has been painstakingly upgraded, making Nothing Lasts, our most super-deluxe release to date. Due to the bespoke design and unique construction of the sleeve as well as the complex printing process of all the features involved, this item also has a premium price tag, making it the ultimate collectors item. We are very proud of this album and confident that you will never see another record, as beautiful or as lovingly put together as this one!

If you were moved by either Are You Shpongled? or Tales of the Inexpressible, this one will blow you away. But Nothing Is Lost Shpongle. The first project that Shpongle (the duo of Simon Posford and Raja Ram) ever attempted together was a 20-minute epic about the emotional effect of witnessing a solar eclipse, which says a bit about the level of their ambition, if not obsession. Despite being together since 1996, this 2005 album is only their third (and reportedly final) full-length release, a schedule that allowed the studio time necessary to create this sprawling and spectacular 20-song outpouring. Their first two albums are impressive and groundbreaking, but this album is truly a leap beyond.
It proved to be yet another masterclass in the psychedelic fusion of the worlds between musical genre and sonic geometry. The album famously features 20 tracks (which on vinyl appear as 8 separate tracks) designed so that every one flows seamlessly into another, continuously evolving like a musical hologram.
