Crackers – The Christmas Party Album is a studio/compilation album by the British rock band Slade. It was released on 18 November 1985 and reached No. 34 in the UK charts. It was certified Gold by the BPI that same month. The album was produced by bassist Jim Lea except "All Join Hands", "Do You Believe in Miracles", "My Oh My" and "Run Runaway", which were all produced by John Punter. The album contained a mix of the band's previous hits, some re-recorded songs and a selection of covers.

Welles Remy Crowther (May 17, 1977 – September 11, 2001) was an American equities trader and volunteer firefighter known for saving as many as 18 lives during the September 11 attacks in New York City, during which he lost his own life. Welles Remy Crowther was the first born of three children. His parents, Jefferson and Allison, raised him and his two sisters, Honor and Paige, in the New York City suburb of Nyack, New York

His father, Leslie Frederick Crowther, was also an actor. Leslie senior was an alcoholic, and died in early January 1955 at the age of 67, ten days after being hit by a car. Leslie junior had a half-brother, Frank Ronald, from his father's first marriage. Crowther married Jean Stone on 27 March 1954. From 1964 to 1967 Crowther presented Meet the Kids, an annual trip to a children's hospital ward that was screened by the BBC on Christmas Morning. He would walk around the ward meeting the patients, and the show would feature a surprise celebrity, and a present hidden under each bed. Typical locations were Great Ormond Street or Hackney Hospitals

Leslie Douglas Sargent Crowther, CBE (6 February 1933 – 29 September 1996) was an English comedian, actor, TV presenter, and game show host. Crowther was born in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. At the end of 1944, he moved to London with his parents, but was evacuated for a few months to the Isle of Bute until just after the Second World War ended. Crowther's stage experience began in the mid-1940s.

Leslie Crowther was a great British all-rounder: straight actor, situation-comedy star, children's entertainer, game-show host, after-dinner speaker and tireless charity-worker. He was born in Nottingham in 1933 and, though he moved to London in his teens, he never lost touch with the city which always knew him as a local boy made good. I knew him for 30 years, and the British public has known him even longer. There was no public image and separate private person about Leslie Crowther - they were one and the same person.
