Ladytron have released six studio albums so far: 604 (2001), Light & Magic (2002), Witching Hour (2005), Velocifero (2008), Gravity the Seducer (2011) and a self-titled album (2019). They also issued the live album Live at London Astoria 1. 7. 08 in 2009 and the compilation album Best of 00–10 in 2011. They have produced remixes for many artists, including David Gahan, Erasure, Goldfrapp, Apoptygma Berzerk, Placebo, Blondie, Gang of Four, Christina Aguilera, Nine Inch Nails, Bloc Party, Kings of Convenience, and Indochine. 604 is the debut studio album by British electronic music band Ladytron, released in the United States on 6 February 2001 by Emperor Norton Records and in the United Kingdom on 12 March 2001 by Invicta Hi-Fi. It was co-produced, engineered and mixed by Lance Thomas. Some of the tracks had been previously released on their EPs Miss Black and Her Friends (1999), Mu-Tron EP (2000) and Commodore Rock (2000).

Ladytron remember the 80s very, very well. These youngsters fly the new wave flag and keep feeling fascination, passion burning, love so strong. But Ladytron's musical interests stretch back before MTV, to 70s Bowie, Roxy Music, Kraftwerk and Cluster. They're like an unabridged Encyclopedia of musical Eurotrash with a sharp pop sensibility. And with 604, they've made a fine debut full-length. The tracks on 604 are sequenced intelligently and keep this slightly overlong album purring along nicely. Latter-day new wave may be old hat, but there's still room for it when it's done right.

604 doesn't just replicate the architects of it's sound - it challenges and rivals them. The album opens up with the strongest and first of several instrumental tracks. Mu-Tron is carried by a low, fluctuating synthline that nearly speaks it's melody as it makes its way across the song. Is this 1985" Because it sounds awesome. About as quickly as you'd tire of filling yourself with candy, "Mu-Tron" draws itself to a slow, crashing end - where we are met with unfamiliar Bulgarian statements or demands. It only gets better on this one.
