Death Consecrates with Blood" is the fourth full-length of this band, which practices an aggressive Black Metal with some Thrash Metal hints. Soon in the first track, we realize Unlight prefers the direct approach, starting with all power, without any kind of introductions. The song is fast, combining blastbeats with Thrash’s speed. Despite its disadvantages, the nice production and tracks like Death Consecrates with Blood or That Old Magick Spell make Unlight’s fourth album worthy of some attention, although it doesn’t come up with anything original. All in all, Death Consecrates with Blood shows us this band can create interesting songs capable of captivating the fans of heavier Black Metal. However, this record ends up being a somehow repetitive and not original at all, being quite obvious the major bands’ influences of the genre.
