Sintesis' Orishas is a stunning blend of Cuban music, African rhythms and rock & roll. The group was allowed to record the album in America, which was an unusual occurrence, considering the political differences between America and Cuba. As a result, Orishas has an edgier, nearly avant-garde bent to its music, and the result is a wonderful, challenging record that captures the true spirit of the term "world music.

SINTESIS is a Prog Folk, Progressive Rock artist from Cuba.

Cuban music CD release from Sintesis with the album Orishas. Released on the label Milan Records. If you loved "Sintesis 2" (Qbadisc, 1994) and its brilliant blend of traditional AfroCuban/Santeria rhythms with modern rock elements, "Orishas" is a good place to start next. I particularly love the soulful singing of Ele Valdes on Tracks 1, 4, 5, 6 and 9. "Orishas" is another fine effort from this unique, groundbreaking outfit.

I am a fan of Orishas, this album is a tad bit different yetvstill good. This latest album is the most lyrically and musically profound of all their work. If their last album "El Kilo" was the perfect synthesis between "A lo Cubano" and "Emigrantes," then "Cosita Buena" is the next step. Unlike their previous work which was a strong traditional Cuban Son and US rap fusion, "Cosita Buena" incorporates a European and a modern Cuban rock feel to the music. Spanish piano rock can be heard in "Bruja," and modern Cuban pop rock (ala X Alfonso) can be felt throughout their opening song "Cosita Buena".

Synthesis (Evanescence album). Synthesis is the fourth studio album by American rock band Evanescence. It was released on November 10, 2017, by BMG Rights Management. The album includes reworked versions of the band's previous material with an orchestral arrangement and electronica music elements, in addition to two new songs. David Campbell was responsible for the arrangement, along with Amy Lee and producer William Barry "Science" Hunt

Emigrante is the follow-up to the well-received début album, A Lo Cubano, by the Cuban hip hop band Orishas. The album was released on June 11, 2002, after Flaco-Pro left the band. El Rey De La Pachacha" – 4:09.
