Margaret Louis Ebey (born October 5, 1935), known professionally as Margie Singleton, is an American country music singer and songwriter. Singleton had her biggest hit with Young called "Keeping Up with the Joneses" in 1964. She managed a successful solo career in the 1960s.

Faron Young's son Robyn followed him into the country music business starting in 1975. Robyn was the main headliner at his father's night club, Faron Young's Jailhouse. In the early 1980s Robyn began touring with his father, performing as an opening act. Margie Singleton - I'll Just Walk On By. Duets Country Style (With Margie Singleton). In 1964, Singleton teamed up with singer Faron Young. Together they recorded the song "Keeping Up With The Joneses". That year, the song reached the country top 5, and became Singleton's biggest hit. The flip side of the single, "No Thanks, I Just Had One", was a Top 40 country hit.

Margie Singleton was born into a musical family, with her sister Pauline playing piano and her older brother Charlie Creath a popular cornetist and bandleader. She took piano lessons and showed remarkable aptitude in both classical and popular forms. She would later state that she never particularly wanted to be a professional pianist but simply enjoyed playing and hearing piano music. In and around St. Louis, she became known and would sometimes play in her brothers band, although not on his recordings.

In 1964, Singleton teamed up with singer Faron Young. Now, at the age of 82, Margie Singleton is back with a new single and video for her song, Jesus Is My Pusher.
