On one level, the debut album from the siblings Kitty, Daisy and Lewis is simply absurd. The 10 tracks chiefly comprise cover versions of songs from the 1940s and 50s, many chosen for their obscurity and the opportunity to show off, be it on hillbilly banjo, boogie-woogie piano or bluesy harmonica. Lewis recorded it with his father, Graeme, in their family home, using antique equipment, and the sound levels are all over the place
