Jai Guru Deva, Om Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world. Sounds of laughter, shades of life are ringing through my open ears Inciting and inviting me Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns It calls me on and on across the universe. I was lying next to my first wife in bed, you know, and I was irritated. She must have been going on and on about something and she’d gone to sleep and I’d kept hearing these words over and over, flowing like an endless stream.

You deviate from that model and you’re going to be ridiculed (Or in my friend’s case, bullied). Millennials were indoctrinated in a system that told them they were special. They showed you, Slimer. Watch any movie produced in the 80s and 90s that is directed at kids and you’ll see that evil corporations are the bad guys and the underdog special snowflake is the good guy who saves the world. Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, Captain Planet, Magic School Bu. .Same thing at school and at every extracurricular activity. The next time you have the urge to judge or name-call someone because they want to make the world a little bit better, remember it’s not a victimless crime. Not only do you make it so people, like my friend, lose the courage to stand up to bullies and endure bad behavior for the sake of being hard, you make it tougher for yourself. You hate the system too. Millennials want to change the system.

A troubling feature of political disagreement in the United States today is that many issues on which liberals and conservatives hold divergent views are questions not of value but of fact. Is human activity responsible for global warming? Do guns make society safer? Is immigration harmful to the economy? Though undoubtedly complicated, these questions turn on empirical evidence. As new information emerges, we ought to move, however fitfully, toward consensus. Unfortunately, people do not always revise their beliefs in light of new information.

Me and all my friends We're all misunderstood They say we stand for nothing and There's no way we ever could Now we see everything that's going wrong With the world and those who lead it We just feel like we don't have the means To rise above and beat it. So we keep waiting (waiting) Waiting on the world to change We keep on waiting (waiting) Waiting on the world to change It's hard to beat the system When we're standing at a distance So we keep waiting (waiting) Waiting on the world to change.

It's sonic proof that while musical fads and fashions will change with every generation, love - and the songs inspired by it - will never go out of style. The ranking is based on actual performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 chart. Songs are ranked based on an inverse point system, with weeks at No. 1 earning the greatest value and weeks at No. 100 earning the least. Wonder admitted that this song was heavily inspired by two previous Motown hits – "You Can't Hurry Love" and "My World Is Empty Without You," both by the Supremes. It was his ninth No. 1 and the first single to top five different Billboard charts. A year later she signed with Epic, with Wonder producing her first album. The initial single failed to chart but the follow-up was "Lovin' Yo. 45. "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" - The Righteous Brothers Hot 100 Peak: No. 1 for two weeks (1965).
