Lugee Alfredo Giovanni Sacco (born February 19, 1943), known professionally as Lou Christie, is an American singer-songwriter best known for three separate strings of pop hits in the 1960s, including his 1966 hit "Lightnin' Strikes". Christie was born Lugee Alfredo Giovanni Sacco on February 19, 1943, in Glenwillard, Pennsylvania, and grew up in suburban Pittsburgh.

After a two-year stint in the military, Christie returned to the pop charts in 1966 with his cinematic masterpiece "Lightnin' Strikes

The first album, Lou Christie, is mostly forgettable cover versions that weren't even recorded very well. On the other hand, Lou Christie Strikes Again is comprised almost entirely of originals which are surprising in their uniform excellence; surprising because in 1964 most albums were a hit or two surrounded by filler. It helped that masterful Four Seasons arranger Charlie Calello was on board to give the songs a rich, full sound.
