Priscilla Coolidge (1941 – October 2, 2014) was an American recording artist and sister of singer Rita Coolidge. Coolidge was born in Lafayette, Tennessee. Between 1969 and 1979, she was married to Booker T. Jones, who produced Coolidge's first solo album, 1970's Gypsy Queen.

He produced Priscilla's first album Gypsy Queen in 1970; then the pair collaborated as a duo on three albums: 1971's Booker T. & Priscilla, 1972's Home Grown, and 1973's Chronicles, and Jones produced Priscilla's final solo album, Flying, in 1979, right as their marriage ended that year. Making the charts as a solo artist in 1981 with "I Want You," he produced an album by Rita Coolidge, plus Bill Withers's debut album Just as I Am (on which Jones played guitar as well as keyboards), and Willie Nelson's album Stardust  . Booker T. playing organ at the Petaluma Wine, Jazz, and Blues Festival, August 2009. In 2009 he released a new solo album, Potato Hole, recorded with the Drive-By Truckers, and featuring Neil Young.

This is a long, two-disc album: 19 tracks, 83 minutes of music. If you can hang from the first song, "Wedding Song," to the last, "One Man Trouble," you deserve a music-listening endurance award. Sometimes less is better. Cherry-picked and taken in smaller doses, which one can do now with a CD (but this is on vinyl and cassette), you could take the LP's bitter with the sweet better. But constantly lifting the turntable arm to move to a different song gets old quick; just laying back and letting it roll isn't the answer either. Jones exited Stax Records before it came to a complete crash and married singer Priscilla Coolidge, Rita's sister, and the two hooked-up musically as well. Great things were expected from this project. Jones led his namesake, Booker T. & the MG's, to some success at Stax. Coolidge, like her sister, sang with an abundance of soul. Or, "She was once married to Booker T. Jones. Well, once upon a Sussex recording contract, and an album called "Gypsy Queen," it looked like she might make a name for herself as a solo artist. She had a soulful, bluesy voice that was bayou-deep, but the album cover was very commercial, showing the world a pale hippie-chick with dyed blonde tresses. The music and lyrics reflected an intriguing ethnic mix. & Priscilla Jones : Chronicles is a jazz related rnb music album recording by BOOKER T. JONES released in 1973 on CD, LP/Vinyl and/or cassette.
