Eighteen Visions is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California, United States, formed in October 1995. The band broke up in April 2007, less than a year after their major label debut was released through Epic and Trustkill Records. After over a decade of absence, the band reformed in 2017. They announced their sixth album, "XVIII", would be released via their new label home at Rise Records.

The new Eighteen Visions album will be out June 2 through Rise Records and fans can sort through a wealth of options at the label's webstore, like lavish bundles including shirts, windbreakers, pins and a lot more. The band will also perform a record release show at The Observatory in Orange County, Calif. the same day XVIII comes out. For more information and to purchase tickets, head to this location. Eighteen Visions, XVIII Track Listing.

Eighteen Visions’ latest offering falls somewhere in the middle of that spectrum. XVIII does nothing to push the band’s sound into new territory, but it is a thoroughly satisfying return to form from a band thought to be finished. Eighteen Visions have reformed and created an album that serves as a culmination of the band’s triumphs and at times a healthy reminder of their blunders. XVIII is brimming with punchy, downtuned riffs, gritty vocals, and heavy breakdowns. The album opens with Crucified, a blistering reintroduction, churning with pinch harmonics and ear-splitting screams.

EIGHTEEN VISIONS: XVIII. So here’s the thin. lthough I count myself among that rare breed of people who has faithfully (if not always happily) followed OC ‘core crew Eighteen Visions through all the ups and downs of their career, even I’m willing to admit that the band’s dissolution in 2007 – at the height of their perceived commercial viability and creative bankruptcy – was probably.
