Voivod - Angel Rat album flac

Angel Rat is the sixth studio album released by the Canadian heavy metal band Voivod. Produced by Terry Brown of Rush fame, it was released in 1991 by Mechanic/MCA Records and is the follow-up to their critically acclaimed release, 1989's Nothingface. On this album, Voivod adopts a more ive/psychedelic rock sound, as opposed to the progressive metal of Nothingface and the thrash metal of previous releases. A music video was made for the song "Clouds in My House".

Angel Rat ‎(CD, Album, Unofficial). Agat Company Lt. Nord Group. They even play a ballad. When it came out, the band said the album was influenced by the first two Alice Cooper records and it shows: As on these, you find highly complex (of course they are, 'Nothingface' came before it) songs with pop hooks and a solid dose of psychosis. Fantastic songwriting ('Clouds In My House' should have been a MTV hit), the great (very 'un-metal') voice of Belanger and the major label production make this a real classic.

Fans of the 80's stuff from the Canadians may be a bit disappointed at first listen. It's also the last record with bassist Jean-Yves Th�riault (Blacky).

Sound - 9 Voivod's sixth studio album, 1992's Angel Rat, apparently turned out to be a huge disappointment. Not only does it follow one of their classic works, 1990's Nothingface, but the bad news about this album was that their original bassist Blacky immediately after the recording. So, this made Angel Rat less successful than it's predecessor, although it's still an OK album in my opinion. Well, there is still some old metallic Voivod in here, the opening riff sounding much more Motrhead than Radiohead.
