The Mickey Mouse Club is an American variety television show that aired intermittently from 1955 to 1996 and returned in 2017 to social media. Created by Walt Disney and produced by Walt Disney Productions, the program was first televised for four seasons, from 1955 to 1959, by ABC. This original run featured a regular but ever-changing cast of mostly teen performers. ABC broadcast reruns weekday afternoons during the 1958–1959 season, airing right after American Bandstand.

The Mickey Mouse Club is a former but long-running American variety television show that began in 1955, produced by Walt Disney Productions and televised by the American Broadcasting Company, featuring a regular but ever-changing cast of teenage performers, known as Mouseketeers. The Mickey Mouse Club was created by Walt Disney.
Disney attempted to resurrect the Mickey Mouse Club in the mid-'70s, hoping that an updated version of the '50s classic could survive in an era when the franchise's squeaky clean Annette Funicello image seemed antiquated. The All New Mickey Mouse Club was designed to bring the show into the '70s. It had a multicultural cast (of the 12 kids, two were black, one Asian, and one Indian) decked out in bell-bottomed jumpers with six-inch collars.
