The idea that the objective, or light-gathering element, could be a mirror instead of a lens was being investigated soon after the invention of the refracting telescope. The potential advantages of using parabolic mirrors-reduction of spherical aberration and no chromatic aberration-led to many proposed designs and several attempts to build reflecting telescopes. The near-infrared can be collected much like visible light, however in the far-infrared and submillimetre range, telescopes can operate more like a radio telescope. Modern telescopes typically use CCDs instead of film for recording images. This is the sensor array in the Kepler spacecraft.

If you think a woman should still have a child after getting raped, get the fuck off my friends list. If you think it is okay for a woman who will die before she can give birth, not to get an abortion, get the fuck out. If you think it is okay for a child to not get an abortion and not kicked out of her family, is not okay, get the fuck out. Women are not your fucking incubators. Like, seriously, how much worse is this going to get? Are all the legal people of color going to get removed from the states? Are we all going to be in one large genocide?

A : What's the new restaurant like ? Is it good ? B : I've no idea. 2. A : How well do you know Bill ? B : Very well. We since we were children. 3. A : Did you enjoy your holiday ? B : Yes, it was really good. It's the best holiday . 4. A : Is Jack still here ? B : No, I'm afraid he isn't. about ten minutes ago. 5. A : I like your suit. I haven't seen it before. A : I've bought some new shoes. Do you like them ? B : Yes, they're very nice.

Ayo, this song is dedicated To all the happy people All the happy people who have real nice lives And have no idea what it's like to be broke as fuck. I feel like I'm walkin' a tight rope without a circus net Poppin' Percocet, I'm a nervous wreck I deserve respect but I work a sweat for this worthless check I'm 'bout to burst this TEC at somebody to reverse this debt Minimum wage got my adrenaline caged Full of venom and rage, 'specially when I'm engaged. But fuck it, if you know the rules to the game, play 'Cause when we die, we know we all goin' the same way 'Cause it's cool to be the player, but it sucks to be the fan When all you need is bucks to be the man, plus a luxury sedan Or comfortable and roomy in a 6 But they threw.

Album covers can be a great chance for you to experiment with some zanier typefaces and type treatments than you normally would. Consider how your use of typography and typefaces reflects the music you are designing for, just like this example by Ill Studio does. The genre of the album is an electronic spaced-out musical ceremon. ound to give you sonic hallucinations, and the ultra-modern, geometric typeface works to reflect this. Use your type wisely. Much like a pointillist painting, this album cover design by Richard Robinson has to be viewed from a certain distance to understand exactly what it’s communicating. Because of the elaborateness of optical illusions like this one, it’s probably a good idea to balance it out with something simple, as this example has done with a back cover with plenty of white-space.

Have no idea what you're doing at work? Instead of letting your worry get in the way, put the negative thoughts to rest and stop feeling like an imposter. Because nobody-seriously, nobody-knows what they’re doing 100% of the time. In fact, I have no idea what I’m doing syndrome is something almost all of us can relate to. The deep fear that you really should have things sorted by now, and wouldn’t it great if a real grown-up came along to tell you what you should be doing, is often inescapable. Unfortunately, even if it’s sporadic, it leads to the kind of self-doubt that can really have a negative impact on your professional life

1. Jack is driving a car, but he’s very nervous and not sure what to do. You ask: Have you driven a car before? He says: No, this is the first time I’ve driven a care. Ben is playing tennis. He’s not good at it and he doesn’t know the rules. You ask: Have you played tennis before? He says: No, this is the first time I have played tennis. Sue is riding a horse. She doesn’t look very confident or comfortable. You ask: Have you ridded a horse before? She says: No, this is the first time I have ridded a horse.
