Solo in Soho is the debut solo album by Irish rock singer Philip Lynott, released while he was still in Thin Lizzy. Current and former Lizzy members guested on the album, including Scott Gorham, Brian Downey, Snowy White, and Gary Moore. Brian Robertson also contributed to the writing of "Girls". Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler plays on "King's Call", a lament to Elvis Presley. Huey Lewis plays harmonica on "Tattoo (Giving It All Up for Love)" and "Ode to a Black Man"

Reading the Phil Lynott biography Cowboy Song. Love the Thin Lizzy stuff (most of it) but this solo album is pretty lame, IMO. At this point in his career, Phil was trying to grab onto the punk/new wave movement, but it just didn't work. PHIL era para mi uno de los mejores vocalistas y genio de la musica,solo hay que revizar su discografia junto a los thin lizzy y vereis los diferentes cambios en cada disco de este figura del rock. Para mi siempre sera uno de los mejores del rock.
