Jimmy O' Brien With The Sonny Anderson Sextet - Something About The Irish (LP). International Records (5). LP 5105.
The album was recorded during Adderley's membership in the Miles Davis Sextet of 1958, and is one of the few post-1955 appearances of Miles Davis as a sideman. Indeed, Davis plays several of the first solos, composed the bluesy title track and, according to the liner notes, chose most of the material The twelve-bar blues "One for Daddy-O" was written by Adderley's brother Nat Adderley for Chicago radio DJ Holme. Sonny Stitt with the New Yorkers (1957). Stitt in Orbit (1960–62).
James "Jimmy" O'Phelan was a street boss and the face of the True IRA group who sold guns to SAMCRO on the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. Played by American actor Titus Welliver, Jimmy makes his debut on the episode "Balm" in the series' second season . He and Donny kill the Irish couple that has Abel and then use the infant as leverage to ensure safe passage out of Ireland and back to California where Jimmy will make contact with the Russian Mafia. In a swap at a dock, Jimmy and Donny give Abel back to Jax, but they take Father Kellan Ashby as their new hostage. Create your own and start something epic.

O'Brien generally refrains from political debate and discourse regarding the Vietnam War. He was dismayed that people in his home town seemed to have so little understanding of the war and its world.
Irish MP Catherine Murphy’s speech regarding the relationship between Denis O’Brien and IBRC. I cannot recall having previously started a blogpost by reporting a speech to the Irish parliament. But please stick with me on this. Catherine Murphy, an Independent TD (MP), yesterday spoke about the relationship between Ireland’s leading media owner, Denis O’Brien, and the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC), the former Anglo Irish Bank.
With the new Villagers album, ‘Darling Arithmetic’, main man Conor O’Brien has worked it all out in his head, and is no longer afraid to put himself at the centre of the song. The way O’Brien tells it, Darling Arithmetic is the accidental Villagers album. The songs were recorded as demos, with the plan to bring them to the studio to be embellished by the band. Instead of following that plan, the singer went with the drafts.
