Led Zeppelin Remasters is a three-LP (or two-cassette or two-CD) compilation album of digitally remastered material by English rock band Led Zeppelin. Containing songs from eight of the band's nine studio albums, it was initially released in the UK and Japan by Atlantic Records on 15 October 1990. The album is essentially a scaled-down version of the four-CD Led Zeppelin Boxed Set.

Led Zeppelin, however, took the practice further than most of their peers. This song, more than any other track on Led Zeppelin’s debut album, established their epic sweep. It was written by American folk singer Anne Bredon in the 1950s: Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, however, were fans of Joan Baez and knew the track from her 1962 album Joan Baez in Concert, Part 1. (Page has said that he learned the song in the days of sitting in the darkness, playing my six-string behind Marianne Faithfull.

Led Zeppelin II starts off with Whole Lotta Love, the best song on the album; then goes to What Is And What Should Never Be, the second best on the album. Third is The Lemon Song, which has one of, if not THE best bass solo in classic rock. Fourth is Thank You, one of the more mellow and beautiful songs on the album. It is followed by the energetic and iconic Heartbreaker, containing one of Page's best solos. Living Loving Maid is next, a short and equally energetic and exciting song to the previous track.
