Sound of Christmas is an album of Christmas music by Ramsey Lewis' Trio featuring tracks recorded in 1961 and released on the Argo label. Lewis recorded a second seasonal album, More Sounds of Christmas, in 1964. Ramsey Emmanuel Lewis Jr. is an American jazz composer, pianist and radio personality. Ramsey Lewis has recorded over 80 albums and has received seven gold records and three Grammy Awards so far in his career. The trio started as primarily a jazz unit and released their first album, Ramsey Lewis and the Gentlemen of Swing, in 1956.

The In Crowd is a live album by the Ramsey Lewis Trio which was recorded in 1965 at the Bohemian Caverns nightclub in Washington . and released on the Argo label. The album provided Lewis with his biggest hit reaching the top position on the Billboard R&B Chart and No. 2 on their top 200 albums chart in 1965 and the single, "The 'In' Crowd" reaching No. 2 on the R&B Chart and No. 5 on the Hot 100 singles chart in the same year.
This is a pleasing, if rather brief (29 minutes) Christmas jazz album that was originally quite popular. The renditions of such tunes as "Winter Wonderland," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," "Sleigh Ride," and Lewis' "Christmas Blues" are fun and melodic, if not all that unique.
