Where Elephant Mountain presented some of the Youngbloods' best material and demonstrated their versatility, from the acoustic "Sunlight" to the jazzy "Ride the Wind" and the highly arranged R&B of "Quicksand," Rock Festival merely sounds directionless and self-indulgent.
