The group released their demo, Basic Pain Procedure in 1983, but it was two years until they met PWL producer Phil Harding, who produced their 1985 debut single "Isn't It Funny How Your Body Works?" and helped them set up their own label, Power Of Voice Communications.

The set will be out on Pylon Records on October 5th, 2018, and contains remastered versions of all five of their Geffen/Mute albums, as well as five LPs of bonus tracks and rarities. The album artwork featured with as well as the insert booklet was created in collaboration with the band. Nitzer Ebb have also announced new lives shows for 2019, the first of which is an appearance at next year’s Amphi Festival in Cologne.
Mute will reissue Nitzer Ebb‘s 2006 compilation Body Of Work as a 4LP coloured vinyl set in March. The set will come with a download card. Last year saw the release of the massive vinyl box 1982-2010 (via Pylon Records) and you can watch an unboxing video of that set here. Nitzer Ebb have announced several live dates for 2019, including Germany, Belgium and at the Infest festival in the UK in August
That Total Age is the debut album of the British EBM group Nitzer Ebb. After its release, it spawned the hit single "Join in the Chant," which hit on the US dance chart in 1987. For unknown reasons, the song "Warsaw Ghetto" was omitted from the CD version. Two of these phrases can be heard repeated in the song "Join in the Chant". Fitness to Purpose" – 5:00.
