never could describe theres nothing in the sky, the sun is just a light and quitting has a price. Not a bad song in Alex’s G catalogue, but this album stands out with some of the greatest. Alex’s music seems to flow out of him with a youthful effervescence; it’s just so natural to him and it shows. I dig the instrumentals on this and the production is the perfect amount of lo-fi. The instrumental performances are obviously the product of someone who just gets it, and knows how to manipulate things and use rhythmic intricacies to illicit scarily specific emotional reactions from the listener.
