Brother to Brother is the sixth studio album by Canadian singer Gino Vannelli. Despite its success - the biggest of Vannelli's career - it was also his last for A&M Records. Gino Vannelli (born June 16, 1952) is a Canadian rock singer and songwriter who had several hit songs in the 1970s and 1980s. His best-known singles included "I Just Wanna Stop" (1978) and "Living Inside Myself" (1981). Vannelli was born into an Italian family in Montreal, Quebec. Gino Vannelli (born 16 June 1952 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian singer/songwriter of Italian ancestry. From a musical family, his father was a big band musician. Gino Vannelli played drums at a young age and after finishing high school studied musical theory at McGill University. He eventually went to Los Angeles, California where he signed with Herb Alpert's A&M Records, releasing his first album with that record label in 1973.
