Bullet For My Valentine - Gravity album flac

Gravity is the sixth studio album by the Welsh heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine, which was released on 29 June 2018 via Spinefarm Records, their first album under the label. It is the first album with former Pitchshifter drummer Jason Bowld, who joined in 2016 to replace founding drummer Michael "Moose" Thomas. It is also the first album to feature bassist Jamie Mathias as a contributing member.

Gravity is the follow-up record to their 2015 release of their album, Venom. Bullet For My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck told NME that he definitely took the lead in the songwriting department on the band’s new album, explaining that he had a bit more of a vision than the other guys on what he wanted the record to be like. We’ve tried to approach songwriting differently, and a bunch of stuff.

The lead balloon that was Bullet For My Valentine’s fourth album, Temper Temper, dealt the Welsh metallers a blow they’re still recovering from. 2015’s Venom was a vast improvement, harking back to the supercharged glory of their 2006 breakthrough, The Poison, but by that point the band were grappling with stalling momentum, shrinking venues and an increasingly apathetic audience. BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE‘s career trajectory over the last few years has been a bumpy one. At one point they were the biggest modern metal band in the UK, filling arenas and looked set to one day headline Download. But then things started to go wrong. Temper Temper is now infamous in how much of a disaster it was for the band and how much it derailed them. It’s follow up saw the band returning to the sound of the first three albums but was met with indifference.
