Barry Barnett - The Diary / Only a Memory album flac

Barry is the seventh studio album released by singer and songwriter Barry Manilow in 1980. The album reached Platinum status. The tracks were recorded at Evergreen Recording Studios in Burbank, California. Manilow co-wrote with Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire the album track "Only in Chicago". We Still Have Time" was taken from the film Tribute. The album scored one top ten pop hit, "I Made It Through the Rain", which reached number ten, in early 1981.

Barry then flew to Los Angeles to record Streisand’s vocals. Streisand was used to recording with a live orchestra, but for the Guilty album she sang to Gibb’s pre-recorded tracks. What Kind of Fool took extra care to produce and finding the right balance of Streisand's and Gibb's voices was the challenge. They recorded it three times-in February, March, and June 1980, with the final version being the one recorded at Media Sound in New York in June.

The Diary" is a song by Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield. It was released in 1958 as Sedaka's debut single. This song's writers, Sedaka and Howard Greenfield, had originally written this song for Little Anthony & The Imperials. It had a very similar sound to that group's first hit, "Tears on My Pillow".
