Since opening the NME New Noise Tour in '08, White Lies have played well-received festival slots at Latitude, T In The Park, Fuji Rock Japan and a main stage performance at Lollapalooza festival in the US. Recorded at ICP studios in Brussels during the summer of 2008 with acclaimed producers Ed Buller (Pulp, Suede) and Max Dingel (The Killers, Glasvegas), the album will be features the singles 'Death' and 'To Lose My Life'. I just saw the video of To Lose My Life and I thought it was good so I bought a cheap used copy of the cd. After listening a couple times this album is good enough to pay the price of a new one. The disc is black to fit with the dark lyrics.

It feels like White Lies have been around forever, perhaps because of their love for vintage sounds, but it’s actually only 10 years since they broke through with ‘To Lose My Lif. An album every couple of years since then has been a decent return for fans, and here they’ve enlisted the help of previous aide Ed Buller, who also produced their debut, as well as Flood, who adds keys to several tracks. The catchiness that lit up ‘Friends’ isn’t so clear this time
