Scarface is Back Tracklist. 1. Mr. Scarface Lyrics.
Scarface is Back begins with invincibility, as the title track serves as a sequel/remake of Scarface. The song starts off following the story of the original track shot for shot, but ends, perhaps surprisingly, on what might be considered a female empowerment note. As rivals invade ’Face’s home, his female companion does not end up a hapless victim, but rather joins him in killing his adversaries and helping him escape into the night. Scarface is Back may be a violent album, but it’s not fueled by violence for its own sake. Instead, the album examines the various repercussions of a life mired in violence. Even if ’Face never gets caught for all of the bad deeds that he commits (and only dies once across the album’s 12 tracks), he effectively portrays a mind completely broken by the evil that surrounds him, much of it of his own creation.
One of the first genuine masterpieces of the gangsta era, the album draws heavily from the densely layered sample-scapes of the Bomb Squad and the provocative ghetto-storytelling of Ice Cube. What sets Scarface apart from his New York and Compton peers, though, is his deep-Texas Houston locale, where coke and crime are daily operations.
Complete your Scarface collection. The cover art on the jacket seems blurry on my copy in comparison to the picture. As for sound quality there does seems to be some static consistently behind the music but its very minimal & the tracks are recorded louder so its not very noticeable.

The result was a 12-track debut via Rap-A-Lot Records. Though critics didn't initially hail his debut as a "classic," Mr. Scarface Is Back did receive 4 mics from The Source and by 1993, it was certified gold in sales by the RIAA.
