Alex Gopher (born Alexis Latrobe) is a French DJ who composes electronic dance music and house. Alex began his musical career playing bass in the band Orange with future Air members Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin. After the group split, he began to create electronic music and embarked on a successful solo career. He prefers to work alone, but since he does not sing, he recruits vocal talent or uses samples of singers like Billie Holiday
