The Zimmerman Twins came to life somewhere in the early 2000’s as a brash, trashy garage rock band, as evidenced on their debut, It’s All Numb Now. Over time they developed into the full-fledged rock and roll band that can be found on their 2017 release, American Tempo. The band specializes in hook-laden rock delivered with a healthy punch. While maintaining a sound of their own, the Ohio quintet is clearly influenced by the rough-and-tumble sounds of 70’s Rolling Stones and Faces, early Tom Petty, and punk/indie bands like The Stooges and The Replacements

Dedication is an album by the Bay City Rollers, issued in September 1976. It was the band's fourth original studio album, and the first new album to be released in the wake of their enormous worldwide success of early 1976. Founding group member Alan Longmuir had been replaced by Ian Mitchell prior to the recording sessions. Upon the switch, Mitchell was slotted as rhythm guitarist; Stuart Wood moved from rhythm guitar to bass. Mitchell also provided the lead vocal for the title track.

Bay City Rollers, released in late 1975, was the first full-length album by Scotland's Bay City Rollers to be issued in the US and Canada. The compilation, which hit No. 1 in the RPM Canadian album chart on 7 February 1976 and reached as high as No. 20 on the US album chart, included the US and Canadian hit single "Saturday Night".

Indeed, almost every track on the album could have been a single - and several more of them were. Jenny Gotta Dance" had been released by John Kincaid just a few months earlier, while "Give It to Me Now" was originally recorded by "Heart of Stone" hitmaker Kenny during 1973. But still the album sparkles, from the fan base-baiting version of the old Phil Spector chestnut "Be My Baby," through to the handful of band originals that proved the Rollers would probably have made it regardless of who pulled the songwriting strings.

The Bay City Rollers were a Scottish pop band of the 1970s. Their youthful, clean-cut image, distinct styling featuring tartan-trimmed outfits, and cheery, sing-along pop hits helped the group become among the most popular musical acts of their time. For a relatively brief but fervent period (nicknamed "Rollermania"), they were a worldwide sensation.

Somewhere in the late 2000’s, the Zimmerman Twins penned a theme song for Toledo’s flat track roller derby team, The Glass City Rollers. It’s Garage rock meets Arena rock… with an odd time signature intro and enough stomp-and-holler riffs to give Gary Glitter a run for his money.
