Having just seen Lukas Nelson at the Outlaw fest in Philly(Camden) I had to purchase the album. Every song on this album is superb. The songwriting is top notch. The guitar solos are well placed and best of all he sounds somewhat like his Father. I am a huge Willie Nelson fan but avoid most country music because it's basically bubble gum coated rock. The backing vocals are really good on all the songs, especially the ones done by Lucius or Lady Gaga. Real outlaw country with plenty of rock n roll and bluesy influence. Good songwriting, and a fun album to listen to all the way through.
