David Niven an English actor known best for playing the starring role of Sir Charles Lytton in ‘The Pink Panther’ film series. He started his career as an extra in the early 30s and upon getting noticed by the bigger filmmakers, he was cast in starring roles in some early films such as ‘Splendor’, ‘Palm Springs’ and ‘Rosemary’. However, by late 30s he had graduated to doing leading roles in some notable films such as ‘Dinner at the Ritz’, ‘The Dawn Patrol’ and ‘Raffles’. As he gained prominence, David Niven became one of the most talented leading men in the industry. Some of the worse David Niven films are ‘The Lady Says No’, ‘Appointments with Venus’, ‘Happy Go Lovely’ and ‘The Toast of New Orleans’. David won an Academy Award for Best Actor for the film ‘Separate Tables’.
